Do show up on time:
Your partner does not want to be sitting alone in a bar for too long. She is already making up bad ideas of impression about you in her head. Showing up on time tells that you are respecting the person you are dating and also tells that you wanted to attend that date.
Show interest:
Listen to what your partner is saying, it is more than fine that sometimes you will not agree or like what they are saying, but you must listen closely to the conversation and ask questions afterward.
Make eye contacts:
This one can be tricky. Making eye contact is a very important tip to do during a conversation, but you need to know where that eye contact is going. As if you are making that flirty eye contact or that look that you want to make your partner know that you are actually listening and very interested in where the conversation is going. Be careful about this.
Throw in a compliment or two because that’s how real men date:
Don’t make it sound that you are complimenting your partner because somehow you feel obligated to. Make it sound that you mean it and don’t overdo it. Compliment her when you think she is less expecting it. Complimenting her at the very beginning is something she would expect you to do. Compliment her when you think she will be surprised by that and will show her how real men date!
Pick a first date spot you are familiar with:
Feeling comfortable is the key to do good on a date. Find a place you feel great and relaxed, that helps a lot in the outgoing process of the conversation.
Be honest:
First date brings out some very awkward situations that people very often feel stressed out and don’t know how to react to that. Sometimes they choose to hide and tell lies about a lot of things. This might be one of the things you will regret doing if the date turns out to be a person you want to spend lots of days with. To be honest, whether they like you or not. Show your true self because that’s how a real men dates.
Offer to pay the bill:
Okay, it is very nice to know that the girl you are dating is capable to handle the situation and wants to pay the bill, showing you that she can take care of herself and she is doing great at it. But you have to show her you can, sometimes, take care of her too.
Dress well like real men:
Find your normal clothes, better your best clothes to wear on a date. Showing up under-dressed makes your partner feel disrespected and you don’t want that to happen. You better show up overdressed than under-dressed .
Don’t use cheesy lines:
Not everyone is super great at pickup lines but let’s be the worst guy using cheesy lines. Women don’t want that and that is also such a turn-off. Show up being a man and leave cheesy lines for younger dudes.
Don’t think too far ahead:
Maybe you are liking the person sitting next to you more than you expected and now you’re planning secretly in your head what might happen next. I mean that you probably are already planning the next date, next move and that is so unnecessary. Enjoy the date and take it slow.
Don’t spend too long talking about past relationships:
Okay, maybe you will be asked about your last relationship or maybe you will be the one that will start to split the tea that she won’t be much interested in. It is okay to tell a few things, but no one wants to listen about your ex on the first date.
Don’t try to be perfect:
Talking about how perfect you are, makes you so imperfect. Everyone knows that perfection is an endless road to walk to and no one has ever reached till the end. So stop making yourself imperfect by telling how perfect you are.
Don’t keep checking your phone:
That shows a lack of interest and that cannot happen on a real men date. Your partner immediately will think that the date is already getting boring for you, and they might want to go home sooner than expected.
